Where do I put the bass module?
The Bass module incorporates the Bose patented Acoustimass technology. The module produces only those frequencies that your ears cannot localize, hence it makes it possible for us to keep the module anywhere in the listening area. That could be behind the sofa/ under the bed or table behind the curtain anywhere out of sight or right next to the system as you may choose. No matter where you place it you will feel the sound to be coming from the tiny speakers that are visible.
How do I hook it up?
The cables from the cubes terminate at the back of the bass module - the right speaker wires in the slot marked right & left speaker wires in the slot marked left.
Another set of wires need to run from the audio in of the bass module to the audio out of the amplifier.

What is the advantage of Stereo Everywhere® speaker technology?
Performance in your own home. The “actual performance” can be an orchestra in one of the world’s greatest symphony halls, or the latest blockbuster movie played in a state-of-the-art surround sound movie theatre. The sensation of almost “being there” is the same.

Do Bose Direct/Reflecting® speakers work well in a video system?
While different placement conditions affect the spatial characteristics of Direct/Reflecting speakers, they have been designed to perform well in a wide variety of locations. Speakers in quality cinema are placed around the perimeter of the audience, so that sound reaches the listener from all angles, creating a feeling of being in the midst of the on-screen action. These Direct/Reflecting speakers in a home theatre set up re-creates this sense of envelopment with fewer speakers, re-creating the spacious sensation of the cinema experience.
