WIN A BOSE HOME SPEAKER 500
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The `Take a quiz on Bose Home Speaker 500, answer 3 questions correctly, and stand a chance to win a Bose Home Speaker 500 contest’ (hereinafter referred to as “Contest”) commencing on February 1, 2019 and is valid till February 28, 2019 (the “Term”) is hosted by Bose Corporation India Private Limited (‘Bose’) and/or its affiliates in all the States and Union Territories across India except for the state of Tamil Nadu on the Terms and Conditions as stated hereunder.

2. This contest is valid for all consumers who walk into a Bose Store and participate by answering 3 questions correctly.

3. A participant will be eligible for the lucky draw only if they answer all questions correctly. They will be contacted by the Bose Marketing team if they are selected as the lucky Winner.

4. The lucky winner (the “Winners”) shall be selected and declared by lucky draw conducted through a random system generated draw as decided by Bose Corporation India Private Limited.

5. 3 (three) Lucky Winners would be shortlisted after the end of the Term of this contest and each Lucky Winner shall be eligible for a Bose Home Speaker 500 (Prize) free of cost.

6. The name of the Prize Winner(s) will be confirmed over the phone to the Winners at their numbers from which the Entry was received.

7. To claim the Prize, the Winner must send/provide to Bose Corporation India Private Limited: valid identification with proof of (i) age, (ii) ownership of the number used for sending entries, if any (iii) identity proof, (and other documents as required by Bose Corporation India Private Limited), upon completion of successful verification, the Winner will be given the Prize. The respective Prize Winner(s) shall be contacted and communicated for further information, if any. Bose is not liable to ensure the right contact details or the loss arising on accord of incorrect information submitted.

8. Entries received after the participation dates shall not be entertained and shall be considered ineligible for the Contest.

9. The decisions of Bose Corporation India Private Limited and its representatives regarding running/process/results of the promotion and data selection shall be final and binding on all the Participants of the Contest. No appeals will be entertained in this regard.

10. Participation in the Contest by sending entries through the aforesaid option shall be construed as an acceptance of the above stated Terms and Conditions.

11. The Participants are prohibited from posting or transmitting any unlawful, defamatory, obscene, offensive, or scandalous material, foul language, or any material that constitutes or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, likely to give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violates any law. Bose Corporation India Private Limited a will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order lawfully requesting or directing us to disclose the identity of anyone posting any such information or materials.

12. By entering into the Contest, the Winner and other Participants waive all copyrights, rights of publicity, and any related rights and consents to Bose Corporation India Private Limited the right to tag, publish, notify, picture, tape, or portray them as a Contest Winner or Participants as applicable, and to exhibit this material in any and all media now existing or hereinafter created, including without limitation internet, television, film, radio, and print media, without any compensation whatsoever for advertising and publicity purposes, except where prohibited by law. The Winner and other Participants also consent to Bose Corporation India Private Limited the right to use their name, voice or picture, or the content of their Contest Entry (collectively, the “Publicity Rights”).

13. Under no circumstance, unless due to willful misconduct or gross negligence, shall Bose Corporation India Private Limited and/or their directors, employees, officers, affiliates, or subsidiaries, be liable to the Participant and/or any third party for any lost profits or lost opportunity, indirect, special, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages whatsoever. The Participant(s)/Purchasers specifically agree not to file in person/through any family member and/or any third party any applications, criminal and/or civil proceedings in any courts or forum in India against Bose Corporation India Private Limited and/or their directors, employees, officers, affiliates, or subsidiaries to claim any damages or relief about the Contest.

14. Bose Corporation India Private Limited India is not responsible for any errors or omissions in the Terms and Conditions contained herein. All information provided in the Contest is provided “As is” without warranty of any kind. Bose Corporation India Private Limited makes no representations and disclaims all expressed, implied, and statutory warranties of any kind to the Participant and/or any third party including, without limitation, warranties as to accuracy, timelines, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for any purpose.

15. Bose Corporation India Private Limited reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to change the Terms and Conditions of this Contest and to alter/vary or terminate the Contest at any time without any prior notice in compliance with any law, ruling, order, regulation, requirement, or instruction of any Central/State Government or for any other unavoidable reason beyond its control. The Participants shall be informed of such discontinuance/cancellation as soon as possible and Bose Corporation India Private Limited shall not be liable for any loss to such Participants due to such discontinuation or termination. By entering the Contest, the Participant agrees to such amended terms.

16. By signing up for the Contest, Participants give an explicit consent to Bose Corporation India Private Limited to contact them at present and in the future for any communication related to Bose Corporation India Private Limited products, special offers, events, and other consumer engagements.

17. Prize and assured gifts are not transferable, assignable, or exchangeable. The Prize and assured gifts cannot be negotiated or refunded, and by no means will cash equivalent be given. Only the Winner, and no other person or agent, may claim the Prize.

18. Any taxes as per the laws, rules, and regulations of Central/state government or local authorities shall be borne by the Winner(s).

19. Mere participation in the Contest does not entitle the Participants to win a prize.

20. Siri is a trademark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.

21. The Bluetooth® word mark is a registered trademark owned by Bluetooth SIG, Inc. and any use of such mark by Bose Corporation is under license.

22. Google Assistant is a trademark of Google, Inc.

23. Alexa is a trademark of Amazon.

24. Bose India employees are not allowed to participate in the offer/contest.

25. The promotions and contests shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws in India. All matters with respect to the Contest are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts at Haryana.
