Putting a system into Setup mode

Entering Setup mode lets you connect a device to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the Bose system. This is useful for system set up and diagnostics.

Enter Setup mode.

If a Bose app or instructions ask you to put your system in Setup mode:
  1. On the top of your speaker, simultaneously touch and hold the AUX and Play/Pause buttons
  2. Wait while the light bar simulates a 5 second countdown by changing size every second. Once complete, it blink white twice and glows amber
  3. For next steps, refer to the Bose app or instructions that asked you to enter Setup mode.
