Muting or un-muting the voice assistant microphone
Your product listens for a wake word (i.e. "Alexa" for Amazon devices) so you can interact with your system by speaking. You can mute the system's microphone and stop it from listening for and responding to wake words. This is useful, for example, if you're are explaining the voice feature to someone and don't want the system responding during that time.
To enable or disable the speaker's microphone:
To disable the microphone, tap the Microphone Off icon of the top of the speaker. When the indicator is glowing red, the microphone disabled.
The microphone can only be enabled by pressing the Microphone Off button on the speaker. It cannot be enabled or disabled via voice commands or the Bose app.
