Updating the software or firmware of your product

Software and firmware updates improve product features and stability. Install any available updates to keep your product working at its best.

Updating the A30 headset

  1. Power off the headset.
  2. Remove batteries from the headset.
    • Power is provided by USB
    • No other external power should be applied
  3. Verify the switches are set as follows:
    o     Revisionary – OFF (Located in the battery compartment)
    o     Secondary Audio Priority Switch – (MIX or MUTE)
  4. Use a USB cable and connect the headset to a computer or laptop.
  5. Power on the headset. Verify the Headset LEDs:
    • Power LED, located at top of the Control Module, blinking Green every ~2.4 seconds
  6. Go to btu.bose.com and follow online instructions to update the product.
